My name is Peter Dollive and I have been passionate about photography for most of my life., be-ginning with my father’s Box BROWNIE camera. However, due to a busy work schedule and family, I wasn’t able to devote quality time to photography until I retired in 2016 which coincided with my wife Kay and I moving to Aberfeldy.
Whilst I have no formal training, I spent many years developing my techniques and finding my niche. Photography is my creative outlet: my go-to place to be expressive, inspirational and meaningful. My technique is highly versatile, with experience in a wide range of aspects and subject material. I am comfortable both on location and in my studio where I love exploring the unlimited potential to be gained from mixing light and water, especially when using macro. The work can be frustrating at times, when it is back to the drawing board, but generally rewarding when the effect I am looking for works. The subject material is vast, as one can imagine, therefore techniques and results are very much a “work in progress”. I hope that you enjoy what you see.
