A biography is difficult thing to do honestly. It’s like a C.V. or as the Americans call it, a resume. So, because I am who I am, (some say eccentric) here goes.
Born in 1952 to loving parents in South Africa. I fled in 1987 and have never looked back.
I started painting as career in 1984 and since then have painted at the very least 2000 paintings. Landscapes, seascapes, maps, portraits, abstracts, surreal, signs and the largest mural ever painted in East Sussex. I have taught art, studied art, hung out with artists, painted and exhibited in Paris, Amsterdam, Durban, Brighton, Perth and Fortingall.
At this point in time I am at piece and, dare I say it, content. I have recently hit on a new technique that is keeping me busy and very enthusiastic. The work in front of you is the result. This technique is still in it’s infancy so may I suggest you check my blog at www.ttttimms.simplesite.com for daily updates on the progress on this technique. To see a fraction of all my work go to www.thesecretgallery.co.uk which will also tell you more about me. Most of you will have devices on you so swipe away.
Yours in geographical and political isolation. Good luck to us all.
Eric
