Pete Clark lives in highland Perthshire, Scotland. He is a performer and teacher of traditional Scottish fiddle and a recognised authority on the life and music of Niel Gow and his contemporaries. He directs his own biannual fiddle courses in Birnam, coaches and conducts the Dunkeld & District Strathspey & Reel Society and is co-founder of the annual Niel Gow Festival.
Pete also paints! He is self-taught and has painted in watercolour for most of his life. During the Covid “lockdown”, Pete began to explore working in Acrylics and, more recently, has been delving into the world of oil painting.
When not painting, Pete is walking the dog, fishing or playing his fiddle.
